Aidan Reinhold is a designer and fabricator of furniture and functional objects, creating through hands-on and digital processes.

Aidan’s thesis project, FlatFlat, the first piece of which is available on the community market, was born from the experience of frequent moves and the observation of excessive furniture waste on the sidewalks of New York. The design process prioritizes a seamless sequence of disassembly, shipment, and reassembly, utilizing flat-rate boxes, which can be acquired for free and shipped at a reduced cost. The materiality ensures the maximum longevity and eventual recyclability of the products.
